Landscapes for Life

Knowing the basics of sustainable practices in land management can lead to good decision making about your home landscape. In this 5-session course, you'll learn to work with nature by covering subjects such as soil biology, water management and native plantings. You will create a long term plan to improve the health, beauty, and habitat value of your property which will benefit your family as well as the surrounding community. Each week you'll have hands on activities, lectures, and discussions. There is a course book to take home. On Saturday, March 8, join the group for an optional tour of a property in Kennett Square that has received certification as a Sustainable Site. Register one person and your spouse or partner attends for free. (One handbook per couple.)
