Course Description

Floral Design Core Course
Ikebana is the Japanese art of arranging flowers. Explore the Ikebana values of discipline, knowledge of rules and forms, and idealized approach to nature using fresh flowers and greenery. You will create distinctive, elegant designs that exude a sense of harmony, balance, and well-being while learning the history and fundamental approaches of Ikebana and its different schools of study.
All containers and kenzans will be provided. Please bring floral scissors.

Please enter through the Business Entrance on Conservatory Road. Friday's class meets 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm. Saturday's class meets 9:00 am - 4:00 pm. Lunch is included on Saturday. All containers and kenzans will be provided. Please bring floral scissors.
